Building an entire security department from the ground-up is no easy task, but just 14 months into his tenure, Rizwan Jan has 10 direct reports and has bolstered the security posture for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for Military Medicine in Maryland.

“Security involves everyone,” Jan said. “This is an enterprise problem, not just an IT problem.”

Jan is the subject of June's "Week In The Life" column, explaining his day-to-day efforts while mitigating risk and spreading security education throughout his 2,400-employee enterprise.
