Saleshni Sharma has over two decades of experience in Technology and Computing Science. Starting her career as an academic in the field of Mathematics and Computer Science, she then spent a few years working in Technology before finding her way into information security. She has worked in multiple industries which includes the Telecommunication, Education, Entertainment, and the Accounting, Banking and Finance sector. Her current role is that of a Director working as the Regional Information Security Officer for the Asia Pacific, in a Fortune 500 company, W.R. Berkley. Her years of experience in academia and as a technology leader has taught her how to lead and motivate people in navigating their path towards desired career goals. According to Saleshni, information security is closely related to risk appetite. The main role of any information security professional is to communicate risks effectively, whether it be business related, technology or personnel. “If we do this successfully 80% of the difficult part of our job is done”. Saleshni enjoys working in a high-performance and highly collaborative environment. When no working, she dedicates here spare time to family and also to a number of mentorship programs that she is part of though her professional networks.

He currently leads the ANZ Security and Risk Solution Consulting group where his team help ServiceNow's partners & customers with a holistic approach to Cyber Security by combining Security Operations, Integrated Risk Management, and an enterprise grade workflow platform.
