Tomas Rollo has taken Toyota Motors Europe on an Identity journey for the past 18 months.
The concept of user's Identity has changed from just a simple dossier of relatively static information about people well known to the organization to an ever-changing cloud of partial information that needs to be received from various sources and matched together to create a sufficient picture about the user.
As such, Identity data then becomes more useful to the other elements of the security landscape when those decide whether to allow the given user action or not.
