Jonathan is a seasoned professional with 15+ years’ experience in the cyber domain.

His achievements include: building out the security assurance programme at Novartis which included operationalising and delivering services related to red/blue teaming, vulnerability assessment, phishing assessment platform, deploying DAST/SAST tooling into CI/CD operations, mobile security etc.; managing the cyber security build out of Deutsche Bank’s hybrid cloud infrastructure with HPE;  contributin to major European state-sponsored cyber security incidents; maturing Celgene’s EMEA and APAC security posture and; currently, delivering oversight and deployment of cyber capabilities to BMS, applicable to their global manufacturing footprint. Beyond this, he has contributed to the UK government’s posture on AI, published articles on the cyber risks of automated vehicles and holds degrees in Engineering, Science, and Law.

Jonathan will talk you through the cyber security automation journey, rolling out and scaling up across the service and manufacturing parts of the business. He will talk through some of the most pivotal aspects of his recent experiences of rolling out a solution, including: 

  • AI and heuristics: learnings from the proof of concept 
  • Winning people’s acceptance: what can go wrong and how to avoid it
  • Strategies, processes and structures to monitor and protect the service and production sides of the business with AI-enabled systems 
  • Tuning the system to work effectively in the different parts of the business
