Andrew Jones operates as a Global Solutions Architect for Shape Security, now part of F5 Networks. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, he began his career as a network engineer working with a large US Defense Contractor. Andrew fell into an IT Security role after helping respond to an incident and remains in that arena today. After a stint as an analyst at DHS US-CERT, he switched to the vendor side and has enjoyed Solution Engineering roles at successful start-ups like NetWitness, FireEye, Tanium, and now Shape Security, supporting both US Federal and Commercial customers, in healthcare and beyond.
