Naomi Schmold

Chief Privacy Officer & Associate General Counsel Enbridge

Naomi received her Law Degree from the University of Alberta in 2005 and worked with Alberta’s Court of Appeal and the Department of Federal Justice before joining Enbridge in 2009. Naomi has held an interesting mix of legal and advisory roles during her time at Enbridge. She currently oversees Enbridge’s Privacy Program and provides strategic advice on matters related to data privacy, information governance, and business conduct.Outside of Enbridge, Naomi serves on a variety of charitable and professional association boards. For many years she taught as a sessional instructor for the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law. In 2019 Naomi was presented with a prestigious Women In Law Leadership (WILL) Award, received in recognition of her leadership within the legal profession. She is passionate about building key partnerships within organizations and leveraging diverse perspectives in order to drive the best results.
