J.R. Tietsort is Chief Information Security Officer, Americas for Darktrace. Prior to joining Darktrace, JR was Chief Security Officer for blockchain tech company Core Scientific and was previously Chief Information Security Officer at Micron Technology, a $30 billion semiconductor company with 35,000 employees around the world. During his 22-year tenure at Micron, JR gained deep expertise in protecting intellectual property, identifying insider threats, and defending against cyber espionage. He is also experienced in building partnerships with industry groups, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement across multiple countries.
