Chief Information Security Officer Transamerica

Brett Mueller is the Chief Information Security Officer accountable for the security and cyber resiliency of Transamerica data assets, systems and digital interfaces.

Brett joins us with a deep cyber security and technology background.  Most recently at First Data, Inc., Brett served as Vice President, Global Cyber Security & Fraud, where he led cyber security and information risk governance for global client businesses: including the world's largest banks, financial institutions and government treasury organizations. This includes billions of transactions processing $2.5 trillion in consumer and institutional credit and $2.8 trillion in cash transactions for the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve Bank.


Prior to this, Brett served as Chief Information Officer for the State of Colorado, Department of Revenue guiding all technology development and implementation; as well as cyber and physical security, fraud, internal and external investigations.  


Brett has led teams of over 700 direct and matrixed resources; managed P&L responsibility for $4.4 billion revenue/expense budgets; and driven initiatives across the globe. 


Brett is based in the Denver, Colorado office.
